Vague question, but: Pain is an unpleasant sensation and emotional experience that one's brain and nerves create from electrical and chemical signals transmitted by sensors in the body. Pain means there is real or potential tissue damage happening. Pain is not just a physical sensation, but is molded by a person's attitudes, personality, etc... One's doctor can evaluate, but please tell the doctor WHERE the pain is.

Chest wall pain: If she otherwise well, the pain may be related to musculo-skeletal pain of the ribcage. As she breathes in, she may be experiencing muscular strain. Try Motrin and local heat applied to the area.
