Near delivery: Flu virus may be transmitted after delivery to your baby. The baby can not receive the flu vaccination untile age 6 months. Please discuss Tamiflu with your PCP and OB specialist, use nasal saline rinses and control fever with Tylenol or Motrin. Have a pertussis and flu vaccination prior to delivery. A call to your selected Pediatrician is also advised and all the best.
