I cough a couple of times a day, starts off with a tingle in my throat. doctor said it was acid reflux, took topzole as prescribed but now its back.

Throat: Acid reflux can cause throat to tingle and if you responded to the Topzole to begin with that would make that cause probable. Did you stop the medication? If so, restart. If still taking you may need to add Reglan. Other causes for throat problem could be infection or allergies.
