I have had a runny nose for about 3 months. then had bad sore throat. antibiotics didnt help. no fever, no other symptoms. step was negative. could it be throat cancer should i be worried? worried why my runny nose/sore throat doesnt go away?

ENT doctor can check: Nose and throat symptoms can be from a strep infection (antibiotics needed), a cold or influenza (antibiotics usually not used), or other causes such as allergies, irritants, or acid reflux. Chronic runny nose with sore throat might be from ongoing or repeated causes as listed already, but an ENT doctor can evaluate for non-allergic rhinitis, nasopharyngeal cancer, etc..., in a middle-aged adult.
