Sore throat aches: May be post nasal drip (you can have without runny nose) or strep or flu. Drink lots of Vit C, which helps for viral infections. Try zyrtec( for post nasal drip), elevate head of bed, drink fluids go to doctor/urgent care and get checked for strep, flu is less likely because usually have runny nose but can have more subtle signs so may check for that as well. .
