I have been suffering with intense headaches for about 5 days now and my ear also bleeds now and then and it hurts so much its like my whole body goes numb! is this serious or could it just be stress?

5 days is long: Most people get a headache at some time, such as from colds, infections, lack of sleep, too much driving, long hours on the computer, stress at work, etc... Over-the-counter options include Tylenol, Motrin or Advil, Aleve, Excedrin and their generic brands. A bad or increasing headache, recurrent headache (as in this case), or with other worrisome symptoms should be checked by one's doctor, or ER.
