Doctor can evaluate: A doctor can evaluate if nausea lasts more than a couple of days. Nausea can be due to things such as: stomach virus infection, other viral infection (eg: flu), some bacterial infection (eg: strep throat), acid reflux (heartburn), gastritis (eg: H. pylori), gall bladder disease, certain cancers, pregnancy, some kidney diseases, medications, etc... Can do a home pregnancy test if sexually active.
