A member asked:

Is it possible to get withdrawals from warfarin? i stopped taking it last week after 10 months and have since been suffering with severe headaches, nausea, dizziness, hot flashes...could this be from the warfarin or something else? i'm a 23 yo female.

No: There is no withdrawal from warfarin. You should see your doctor.

Warfarin: Warfarin does not produce withdrawal symptoms. When you stop warfarin you clot your blood easier. A lot of the symptoms you mention really have nothing to do with stopping warfarin.
