Foot drop: Foot drop is typically associated with some type of neuropathy. That can be often associated with impingement at the level of your spinal chord (disc disease a good example). There are people who develop dysfunction of the nerve peripherally. That is a peripheral neuropathy which can be associated with diabetes, heavy metals or even pressure conditions ( bar stool weakness a good example).
