Hypoxic?: I’m not sure why you’re breathless, but the concurrent “buzzing” in your feet could be suggestive of hypoxia, or a deficit in life-sustaining oxygen. This could be a serious situation that requires immediate medical attention in an emergency room.

Hyperventilating?: Sounds like what we call carpopedal spasm. When we breathe quickly it causes the carbon dioxide level in our blood to drop which changes the acid-base level which in turns has an effect on calcium levels. This causes a titling sensation in the hands, feet and sometimes the face.

Low calcium: Can be temporarily caused by rapid breathing and then can cause a variety of symptoms in the body. The key here is to assess why you are breathless and fix the underlying cause. So a doctor consult is needed as will need examination. This should be undertaken urgently if you are short of breath at rest or if you are having rapid deterioration in your breathing, or if you have chest pains
