Urethritis: Sometimes urethritis may continue as an immune response even if no active infection. Or your friend might have prostatitis, not urethritis. Herbal products will never help -- stop trying them. Find an expert in genitourinary medicine or STD. (Some but not all urologists have such expertise.) Happily, usually this is just an inconvnience and not harmful to either the patient or his sex partner(s).
