A member asked:

I am a 62 year old male. i have pain in my pelvic area.

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Doctor can check: If not constipation (collection of stool in left lower abdomen) that goes away with a bowel movement, then one's primary care doctor can evaluate for a problem, such as abdominal or pelvic mass, kidney problem, prostate infection, bladder or prostate cancer, etc... In an older adult, even if the pain goes away with a bowel movement, the doctor may still want to examine him.
