Plan well ahead: Traveling can be a good thing or a bad thing (or sometimes neutral) in its effect on mental health issues. Mental health problems are a big part of human life. If a travel trip is a good thing (relaxing, truly able to escape home or work stress), then less medication may be needed. If the opposite: a trip is a change and change is stressful... and more medication may be needed (thus, bring meds).
