Ive been taking amoxicillin for a toothache the worsen overnight and naproxen for the pain ive been taking these meds since wednesday night and thursday night i been feeling pain n my stomach area i havent had a bowel movement passing gas a little?

Toothache: Antibiotic should help contain the infection, but treatment (root canal or extraction) is the only cure. Continue with antibiotic until all are taken. Try to schedule dental treatment for just before antibiotic runs out. Antibiotics and analgesics can irritate stomach and change elimination pattern. Be sure to take meds w a full 8oz of water to ease the GI symptoms.
