Sure, but...: What vaccine are we talking about? There are lots of different vaccines. For tetanus boosters (protects from a disorder from infected wounds) one should get a shot every 10 years... which means it's about time, since 9 years ago is close enough to 10 years. In the US, cats are are vaccinated for rabies, so that is rarely a problem. Note that a person would have died long ago if there was rabies.
