Hmmm....: Most people do not own a glucose tester, so having one means there is some blood sugar concerns at home. A 17.8 result converts to about 320 mg/dL in the US and is rather high. That means following the doctor's instructions on what to do with a high result... such as see the doctor, go to the ER, etc... The doctor will want to know what any symptoms are, and likely order blood and urine tests.
