A member asked:

My daughter gets these itchy red bumps all over her body. pediatrician said she had an allergic disease and she would outgrow it, but it frustrating.

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Hard to comment: I would not call allergies a disease but a tendency/over reactivity of part of the immune system. The description provided of bumps is too vague to either confirm or challenge their label as allergic. Foods are sometimes involved & a symptom diary/food diary or testing can sometimes let you know things to avoid.
