Child 28mnths had fever every 2nd day for the past 5 days. ranging between 38 and 38.8 she was fine now for 2 days now 39.5 fever and chills. no crying. wet nappies. no rashes or bite marks that i can see. not eating well but drinking?

Physician visit: Please see your physician, since most common illnesses are not associated with prolonged fever. There may be an untreated infection. If there is conjunctivitis, swollen lymph nodes, swelling or rash, please see your pediatrician so that they may evaluate for Kawasaki's disease.
