A member asked:

I sometimes have dry eyelids, with white/yellow flakes. what are good ways to prevent/treat it?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Probable seborrhea: Gently clean eyelids with luke warm soap and water on a Q-tip and also dry with a separate Q-tip. Do not use fingers. Initially, I would suggest applying a small pea-sized drop of 1% hydrocortisone cream, also gently applied with a dry Q-tip using small gentle circular motions.
