A member asked:

I have calcium oxalate crystals frequently in my urine. my urinalysis today was normal but cloudy. i could see sediment/white floating stuff in there. is that normal? will they check for crystals if the ua is normal?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

UA: A UA would not show crystals, but if they run a microscopic analysis then this would be seen. Did the cloudy urine show any sign signs of infection? I would ask for a repeat with microscopy.
