A member asked:

Can someone here interpret my urinalysis result rbc: 15-20; pus: 2-4; few epth.cells, few amorp. urates, few calcium oxalates?

Dr. James Lin answered

Here are some ...: First, make sure the urinalysis was timely done with properly collected fresh urine so to avoid potentially contamination, especially in sexually active females. If done so, 15-20 RBCs/hpf is significant and should be thoroughly evaluated with imaging study + cystoscopy, And seeing few calcium oxalate crystals is common but usually not clinically significant, Hence, ask Doc for detail timely.
