Strain: It appears that you strained either the thigh muscle or the inguinal ligament. The latter injury would be more.long-lasting. Either way you must avoid further strain, Apply cold applications 20 minutes 4 times daily for 48 hours and then switch to warm,moist applications. Anti-inflammatory medications like Advil or Aleve relieve pain and inflammation. Consult an orthopedic specialist as needed.
