Workup: I would suggest a workup to rule out infection and malignancy. Laboratory and imaging tests may include markers of inflammation, cultures and possible aspiration of the area under ultrasound guidance for further evaluation by the Pathology lab. TB testing and local skin cleaning and application of an antibiotic cream may be helpful.
