What can i give a 1 month old baby that is mixed fed when he has lots of gas, abdominal cramps and goes 3 days without making a poop?

Pretty common: A 1mo baby can have a stool every feed or once every few days. If it is soft it is not constipation. They often struggle to poop as they have weak belly muscles & push with their fussing muscles. Babies gas is a combination of what they swallow with feeds & what the germs in their gut make feeding off undigested material.
