You should not.: The Ephedrine (ephedrine sulfate) is not a good idea. You can take chromium picolinate and lower Insulin to some extent, which may help with weight loss. The Ephedrine (ephedrine sulfate) not a ggood idea to take! better to get an rx from your pcp for phentermine, if he feels you need it!

Whats ephedrine (ephedrine sulfate) content of sida cordifolia vs. Ephedra?

Dr. Barbara Stark Baxter
Allergy and Immunology 42 years experience
Ephedra>>cordifolia: Ephedra sinica, has a total alkaloid content of 1–3% by dry weight. Ephedrine (ephedrine sulfate) constitutes 40–90% of the alkaloid content(wikipedia entry). Natural sources of Ephedrine (ephedrine sulfate) are no longer used to make pseudoephedrine, because synthetic processes are cheaper. Ephedra must have a lot more Ephedrine (ephedrine sulfate) than sida cordifolia, because it was only source used commercially before synthetics were available.

What are medical used of ephedrine (ephedrine sulfate)?

Dr. Karl Spector

Stimulant: Ephedrine (ephedrine sulfate) is an amphetamine-like substance that has been used medically for asthma, as a decongestant, cold/flu symptoms, and to aid in weight loss. It has been banned in the us since 2004 because it can dangerously raise blood pressure, cause heart rhythm problems and, in rarely, even death. There are too many risks and as there are so many other meds to use instead, to use it any more.
