Urologist: I trust that a urologist is involved in your care. Are these true UTI's documented by clean catch urine cultures, sensitivity and colony counts? If so, some structural abnormality in your urinary tract predisposes you to recurrent infections. Perhaps you experience recurrent urethritis. Often it follows intercourse and taking an antibiotic just before or after intercourse prevents the urethritis.
