Sleep patterns: of toddlers vary a lot. Although most children his age still need 12-14 hours a day, it is not uncommon for 2 yo to shorten or to stop taking afternoon naps, and if he is sleeping from 11 PM to 10 AM, he is getting 11 hours of sleep. Gradually move bedtime forward by 30 minutes every few days, so he is going to sleep when you want him to. Be firm and keep him in his room or crib.
