M from india. i have read about visceral fat and subcutaneous fat. do men have more visceral fat in their bellies which gives them a pot shaped belly while women, more subcutaneous fat which gives them a differently shaped belly like rolls of fat?

Yes but it varies: Varies based on race, in general women have 10% more body fat than men. Women tend to have more subcutaneous fat and lower visceral fat, however these differences in visceral fat diminish with age. Asian women tend to have more visceral fat than Caucasians, but still less than Asian men. Black women have comparable visceral fat and more subcutaneous fat than black men.
