Hard to guess: We humans are not that fragile. Otherwise, we would have gone extinct long ago. A healthy person with a normal neck should be able to rotate his head gradually in any direction and should be fine. It is not recommended to manually "help" move the head farther than or faster than it naturally can go by itself, just to see what can happen beyond the limits. A psychiatrist can help treat phobias.
