Better alternatives: There are reports that one of the ingredients of Citrosoda might throw off the blood chemistry in the mother and fetus, and it’s hard to get good information about each of the other three ingredients in pregnancy. Best to use aluminum hydroxide (Mylanta), which has been studied. Nonetheless, keep your doctor in the loop about what drugs you’re taking (including over-the-counter) during pregnancy.
