My son got his menectra ( meningocccal ) vaccine before 7 years , does he need a booster now ? i was told menectra lasts for good but now they are saying only 5 years ? what do you think ?

Recommended dosing tries to provide the best protection for the years when peak exposure/risk is considered greatest. In the US we give a dose at 11-12 & a booster at 16-17. How it is done in your country is not clear. If you want the protection boost as needed.
