A member asked:

Aspirin helps my chest pain a lot. does this mean i have heart disease? i am 26 with a history of cocaine, ecstacy and smoking. it seems to improve my pulmonary function too.

Doctor can evaluate: Drug abuse, chest pressure, or chest pain are signs that one should talk with his doctor (or go to the ER if symptoms are worrisome). In adults (less likely in very young adults), chest pain can be due to a heart attack or heart disease. If it turns out not to be heart disease symptoms, one's doctor will also have checked for problems such as a lung issues and rib cage issues.
