I have a pain on my left tummy, corner side, if it was on the right would say its an appendix, very sharp pain?

Diverticulits: It is the left sided appendicitis. Although a little different inflamed tube. The appendix is a long tube that gets plugged up and infected. Diverticulosis is common and it is tubular outpoutches that develop from the colon. The divertiucli are not as long as the appendix, but the get blocked and inflamed too. They cause similar inflammation and can burst. It would be a good idea to get checked.
