Dr. can evaluate her: There are good treatments for depression. A primary care doctor can evaluate to be sure one does not have a physical illness related to depression. School, work, and family troubles can lead to depression, but the reverse can also happen. Prescription medications are beneficial, and help one improve enough to really benefit from counseling.
