A member asked:

Someones forehead knocked against my front teeth really hard. will my front teeth move as a result of the trauma? will there be permanent damage to the teeth? there was no blood.

Trauma: Only time will tell. Best to see your Dentist for examination and imaging to establish a base line. Tooth and/or surrounding bone may be fractured. Nerve of tooth may be permanently affected. Apply cold compresses immediately. Take Ibuprofen as per package directions to reduce risk from inflammation. Call your Dentist to schedule an examination, especially if tooth mobile, darkens, appears moved.
