Azithromycin: These are common side effects of azithromycin. However, if vomiting occurs more than 30-40 minutes after taking the drug, enough is absorbed to be effective. It also can cause cramping and diarrhea, but usually not severe. Try taking any additional doses with food to reduce the chance of nausea, stomach ache, and vomiting. Good luck!
