Probably OK: Azithromycin in a single large dose (e.g. 1 gram) sometimes causes stomach pain, nausea, and vomiting. Reserch has shown that if vomiting does not occur within 30 minutes, drug absorption is complete and treatment is effective. For sure no probletm at 1+ hr after taking it. It will work well. But check with your doctor to make sure s/he does not want to retest you in a few weeks to be certain.
