Smecta: I believe your obstetrician should ok any product you take during pregnancy whether it's a prescription or over-the-counter medication. Smecta is an antidiarrheal medication that contains magnesium and aluminum which are not absorbed into the system and is most likely safe during pregnancy, but I still like the ok from your obstetrician.
