Hi... i have woken up with the right side of my face swollen. from the upper cheek to just above my eye... the gp says i have allergies?

Face: I do not know if you were laying on that side of your face, but a common cause for swelling would be from a pressure response. If you were laying on that side of your face that can stimulate edema. Possibly you could be allergic to your bedding or the whatever you use to clean your bedding. Softeners a common culprit for this.
