Hi my ct scan shows fibrotic change in the lingula segment of the left upper lobe and right groundglass opacity is noted the the periphery of the apical segment right lower lobe, is it serious and what does it mean?

CT: The fibrotic area of the lung is likely and old area of infection. Ground glass appearance means there is some type of fluid in the airspace. This could be from infection, either bacterial or vial,, or some type of medical problem. Heart failure or other processes to cause fluid on the lung. Sometimes people get some atelectasis and this will cause this appearance.
