Allergy/skin rash: Trimethoprim/Sulfamethoxazole (Purbac) is an antibiotic, generally used for treating acute infections, usually no more than five days. There could be some allergic reaction to "sulfa" and skin eruptions if these symptoms present you should stop taking the drug and see your doctor. In rare cases, low glucose levels can present when taking metformin or glyburide, watch your glucose levels/symptoms.
