Ice, ice, baby: The joints undergo changes during pregnancy, but icing the knee is always helpful for swelling and doesn't involve taking medicines or anything else that might effect your baby. Frozen peas, frozen corn, fancy gel pacs, etc... For 20 min at a time on the knee several times a day will help. Elevation and rest are also helpful. If having worsening swelling then consult your ob.
