Joint Hypermobility: There is a condition called Joint Hypermobility Syndrome. It is considered a hereditary connective tissue disorder marked by hypermobility & chronic pain. It likely shares some roots with Ehlers-Danlos syndrome as it shares many features but a known genetic defect has not been identified. Treatment focuses on physical therapy & pain control.
