Diagnosis needed: Continual discomfort warrants an investigation. In view of radiation to the back, one possibility is radicular or nerve root pain secondary to disc pressure in the upper spine or, if it's a recent symptom, early shingles with rash soon to follow. Examination of the breast, rib cage or even left lung may be checked. See your MD for the workup.
