Might cause pain: If a urinary stone gets stuck in the urethra it will most likely cause pain. The intensity of it will be in accordance to the size of the stone. Sometimes the treatment for urinary stones might only be hydration, which might have been what you physician told you. If the stone is small (not getting stuck) it will be a painless urination.
