A member asked:

How long is it supposed to it take for periods to stop with premature ovarian failure?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Ovarian aging: You were born with all the eggs you will have. Each month, a number start out and only 1 ovulates. Therefore the number and quality continues to decline. Some women will run out earlier than others. Still, there isn't a way to tell when you will stop having periods completely. You can only after they stop completely.
