Had bloodwork done for physical. rbc 5.35 hemoglobin 16 hematocrit 48.8. wbc 7.4 platelets 212.should i be concerned? is it polycythemia?

Erythrocytosis: This is erythrocytosis and not polycythemia vera as only the red cell elements are mildly elevated. Smoking, chronic lung disease, stress,dehydration are possible causes. Your physician or a hematologist can perform a workup and advise you.
