BUN: You don't mention the bun level or what your creatinine and urinalysis results are. Elevation of the bun with otherwise normal kidney function is often caused by dehydration. It can also be caused by eating too much protein or bleeding into the intestinal tract. If you or your physician are concerned consult a nephrologist.
