Pap smear ?'s: CIN 2 is a designation given to abnormal cell types found initially on a pap smear, and later via colposcopy with biopsy. Treatment of this can be a "one day procedure" with cryo (freezing) or LEEP type excision, both of which resolve the issue. Most gyn physicians can do these in an office context.
