PTSD: Maybe you're experiencing a condition called post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) which is an anxiety disorder caused by very stressful, frightening or distressing events, some symptoms are nightmares and flashbacks, feelings of isolation, irritability, guilt, insomnia, and find concentrating difficult. Anxiety: It seems you have been struggling with this high anxiety and sleep disturbance for 10 years while in the military. If this problem is caused by trauma then a Clinical Psychologist can help you with psychotherapy and Psychiatrist can help with medication. If there is a specific problem or conflict you are trying to solve you are entitled to problem-solving non-medical counseling sessions.
